whats the date for conn. river run this year? at the rondak romp I heard it was the 3rd weekend in oct. well that just leaves one other question saturday or sunday? looking foward to that day.

Yeah, I'd like to know this too. I tried some searches on the I-net and only came up with info about last years. If it is that late in Oct. I may even be able to get my rig out there, in primer at least.

I think the idea is to hold it sometime during fall foliage, try contacting Rich Owens, I think he has been the one to offically announce it in the past

I missed the last two, but the one I attended launched at Haddem Meadows State Park (about 1/2 way up the river) and we hung out a short distance north of the launching site for a while and then cruised up to Hartford and back (maybe 60 miles roundtrip)

The 2002 CT River Run will be held at 8 am Oct 19 with a rain date of Oct 20 .
It is an informal gathering starting at Haddam Meadows State Park in Haddam CT . I will post directions soon ( you can find them in the archives I believe) . The run to Hartford and back is 60 miles . There is 89 octane available on the river . We will have pizza delivered to a beach in Cromwell so I'll need a head count of drivers and passengers 5 days before the Run . You might want to pack some sandwiches and beverages also .

Yup I plan to be there this year, no excuses, boat is back together, now if somebody want's to donate another Bridgeport so I can mount twins, I might be able to keep up with you guys!

Jack , A few wives/girl friends do attend . "Facilities" are sparse , but plenty of woods .
