It is supposedly a 91 XP 200,
The serial # is G02606975
Model# is VE200SLEID
anyone know how to decipher these to verify?

Didn't see anything for that anywhere. My guess is that S for special styling (also for sail, but i have never seen a 200 sail motor) is the XP part.

Evinrude called there performance motors XP. Johnson called them Gt.They are higher rpm bass boat motors. They have a little more compression and bigger carbs.

Ok I was wondering if there was a designation in the serial or model # that designated it from the std 200.

I think that is the S in the model number.
