Hi, I've read a lot about digital boxes and found many threads saying you have to switch to the smaller fitting when you have a digital box which I have.

I'm pretty sure mine is the large hole for analog box since my horn is old style it as holes in the throttle plate to adjust idle. My motor is not running bad in the low-mid range but I want to be sure everything's perfect. I'm also pretty sure it hasn't been change cause it appears to have the factory glue on it.

Just want to make sure before I remove it.

So my question: Is the small hole (about 0.020'' from what I've read) on the barb side or on the press fit side of the elbow? In other words is it visible from the exterior just by unplugging the tpi hose?

Thanks in advance:thumbsup:

Jimmy ,
I remove the bigger analog type and revise to the digital all the time. I grab the square part of the barb elbow with vise grips and heat the base with a Mapp torch then after it gets hot I GENTLY start to twist, they normally simply "unscrew" from the boss. I clean everything up put a dab of JB WELD on the shank and tap the new digital one in place...

Thank you very much guys for your quick replies. That's exactly what I wanted to know that means I don't have the right fitting. I'll order it and change it as soon as possible.

Thanks again:thumbsup:
