.org still work fine here. Very outdated though and all the java applets on that page can make it a pain to browse sometimes.

Opps, so it kinda is still available, I always liked to see if that sexy cutie was still sitting on the bow of one before looking at anything else :D
I can't find her anymore :o Some pages show up blank with ads on top when I looked.

Are you using IE? It works pretty well with Firefox. On the main page, the links at the top work, but the ones on the left do not. The rest of the site works well for me with an occasional lockup of my browser.

Jim Contzen is the owner of Hydrostream. He and Phillip have a joint venture for the manufacture and distribution of the boats. There is a thread on this site about re-introducing the Viper. Stream 1, Jim explains the arrangement. This entire venture is about consistent quality. Jim and Phillip are both stand-up guys, this gives them the oppertunity for one or the other to be involved with each and every boat.

We are still here, Hydro Stream Performance Boats are being built in Buford, Ga. Near lake lanier, 40 min North East of Atlanta. My web site has been down for 4-5 days, I am having problems with the dsl connection, the geek guy is supposed to be here today and fix it, and hopefully be back up and running, we are currently building sold, ordered boats, we have a Vegas in the mold, and a comp venom, we will be starting a Voyager next week, and a consumer weight Venom next week. We have been busy, we down sized the staff a little, and spare time to post is very little, however, I will make time, I will post pictures of the boats as we build them, and wait till you see the comp Venom, and how much it weights, Hydro Stream is still very much alive and kicking, thank you for every ones continued support.

WOW! thanks for all the quick replys everyone. i wasnt talking about hydrostream.org but i have trouble with that one too. just comes up as some wierd ads on the top of the page. well im glad to hear hydrostreams are still being made because sooner or later id like to buy a voyager with a nice 250 on the back. until then i will be enjoying my vasserett to the fullest!
Apparently there have been some changes with Hydrostream. A few years back I visited the facility in Maryville TN. They had just started building the Venoms for delivery. Seemed to be a pretty quality operation. Jim Contzen showed me around the place and was a great host and seemed to be quite proud (as he should have been) of his operation and quality and performance of his boats.
So,,, is the Maryville facility still up and running? Has Contzen taken on a partner in Georgia?? WTF I guess I need to spend more time on da board.

I was apoplectic when he did that. He tried to explain his reasons for use of the the name on that hull, but he didn't get too far with me:nonod:

:iagree:
All naming it the ventura does is piss off the old school HS guys. anyone who is interested in a hull like that could give a chit less about the heritage of the name. I guess its neat that the name is still around, its just a little weird.
Kind of like if Chevy had made a 4 cylinder hatch back FWD car and named it the Camaro.

so you are comparing hydrostream owners to camaro onwers?
Sweet, the next time I am at the lake and I see a wife beater ventura I'll be sure to catalog that one hahahaha :D

He is comparing the blaspheme that the Ventura has become!! we aren't talking about a just some design. this is the design that has been splashed more then any other. this is where the action, reaction, and every other splash boat came from!!
There is a reason it was copied, and its legacy DOES NOT DESERVE THIS SPLASHED SKI BOAT!!!

jay r I think you missed my point, I'm holding the ventura in a higher class than that of the car so beloved to wifebeaters

More then just wife beaters love the camaro, and yeah, maybe it should be compared to the old corvette stingrays!
