nikon p90

hey guys i know that there are some photography guru's in here...i just bought a nikon p90...i was thinking about buying the d5000 i just couldnt justify spending $1000 bucks on a cammera right now...did i get a good one or did i waste 400 bucks?

I just found this thread, sorry for the delay. I think the P90 is a good camera. It will not provide the results that an SLR will for shooting action, although it will do fine. The Nikon D40 is much less than $1000, so if you are unhappy with the P90, that is always an option. :)

I wanted the D5000 also, but needed a camera a.s.a.p. and cost was a factor. I ended up buying the D60 on sale and it's great, probably more camera than I need.

there seams to be a series of camreas with serious issues. just type in the serial #
