A Huge Thank You!

I would like to express my graditude to several guy's that roam around here. In Febuary I popped my 200 powerhead. I started shopping around for a 225. I got ahold of Scott Vickery (Yellowallison) and asked him for his help in finding one. He talked me into looking for a 260 instead. He said I was jut gonna want more anyway. He then, got me in touch with Rick Conklin (Fl boyin Ill). Rick had a stock 260 he could have put together for me by his racing partner Bill Henderson (Mirage243). Thanks to all of these guys I have a sweet 260 on my Allison now. Motor has top pinned piston and stuff like that, a nice powerhead.:thumbsup: I had most of the money but, not all of it. They built me a powerhead, sent it to me and let me pay the rest at a later date when I had it. I just wanted to post this to let everyone know what a great bunch of guy's these boy's are. A special big thanks to Bill.

There was a time that we could get good deals on the buy n sell forums too, but thats hard to do now that cheap parts get snapped up only to be sold for double a few months down the road.

Nothing like the howl of a 260 around 7600 - 7800 RPM with a 26 ET on a 2003 !!!!!! Good deal Randy ..I still dont have the stones(brains ? ) to hold mine on for the number !!!:cheers:

K-Dawg glad I was able to HELP by sending ya to my good buddies Rick and Bill who I knew had a GOOD 260 and with the parts ya needed for the 200 to 260 crossover.

Basically so many of us have seen new guys like you get 'Screwed' without applying any vaseline first.....that we try offering to help before one the vultures get ya.... :thumbsup:
