didnt even hurt him as i recall
i havent got a call from him in a while either
from what i understand the boat was fixed

Rick Conklin is his name. If I remember correctly, he has the boat for sale now. But like Eric said, I haven't seen him post much since before the Ft. Rucher race.:thumbsup:

yep thats Rick he had the boat fixed and is running it in the 10 second class this year. That was a scary moment for sure I was on the holding rope and watched it happen from the starting line.

Rick had 2 boats made that were very similar in color his first boat did run at smokin in the cove last year.
This boat has a new deck and is yellow.
The crash gave Rick a black eye and a cut on his arm. I'm pretty sure that is all that happened to him. He was his usual happy talkative self on the way home that weekend.

wow that was flying, glad to hear he was okay, it almost looked for a second like it was going to flip then land upright and keep going
