.056 uncompressed measured at the steel ring! Holy smokes!
I ordered several from Rickracer to replenish stock and they send me Sierras instead of the Pro Marine Victor Reinz which were .005+ thinner. Now I have a mix
If I run these I may need to rethink some measurements.

I don't think it will make any difference in the compression on that motor. You need to compress one and see how much crush you get. I would bet once you crush it the thickness will be the same as the others.

I'm seeing .010 diff on the piston dome height over the deck. Port was .770-.780 Starbrd .760-.770 (the .010 spread on each side is due to piston rocking in the bore). I had a set of heads with .050 variance from one chamber depth to the other, and now these gaskets are .010 thicker at least over the stock.
The point is all this adds up. I try to accomodate the worst cylinder when it comes to clearance, but then all the others are way loose
I'll get it right. I'm having the chambers leveled and may have that Port side decked .010. We'll see.

Yep Bruce your right!
And I did see a compression drop on my motor too when using those gaskets also....
