this has been discussed in previous threads prior but noticed my 1997 RR doesnt have the outer sponson 2" step/notch (from front to back)like the 97 ski racer has
Got a ride in my buds ski racer that carved a 90* turn at 75mph without slowing down:eek:
had to of been two Gs plus!!!
I am mostly a drag type,so i never knew these Mirages could turn like a F1
I am thinking this step/notch benifits ripping the turns??

Why do you want to make a 90 degree turn at 75 MPH ???????? Fill me in ?? My 97 RR would turn as hard as I dare with trim being applied properly ??

Kevin,
For some reason, Brad stopped building them like that. the first 1997 River Racers had that hull under them. That's the only difference of course, the running surfaces and bottom of the sponsons are the same. Mine is just like yours.

super clean ski racer and Dale the owner is an ex motox/supercross guy,so you know where that goes...
Cant help to think the step might help that boat turn better then the RR after taking a rip in the passenger seat:eek:
