86 Black max wiring question

I put the engine on the back of the boat

I need to know how to power it up
where do the pos and neg leads go onto the motor

I am guessing the neg goes to the starter bolt
I know the 7 pin goes to the 7 pin female
Where does the pos go to?

there are 3 more wires left (not sure where they go) mabe trim?

I am guessing the small rubber tube must be for the pressure gage

Positive should go to a starter solenoid. Other wires probably trim. What colors are they ?

2 of the other wires (Green/w, Blue/w) are to the trim. Brown/white goes to the trim sensor. Tan goes to the OT sensor.

The hose goes to a fitting on top behind the flywheel.

The rubber tube might be the speedo tube, if there isn't a barbed fitting on top of the motor behind the flywheel like John said. There is a pipe plug with a 3/8 female fitting stock.

If there is a small hole in the front of the gearcase on the leading edge and you dont see a fitting on the top of the block the hose is for your speedo.

the 3 wires are red black and brown....half the size of the power cables....the boat doesn't have a speedo....but it does have water pressure gages.....looks like brown is on the back of the temp gages....

Now I just have the red and black wires left, looks like there are only on 2 on the cable sets for 2 of the engines, the center engine wiring looms dont have these small red and black wires in the looms (the boat is set up for 4 ob's
