hey guys,

listening to someone i got this crazy idea of making my hydrostream vixen into a drag boat... the only thing is its only 14'7 not the 15ft i was told it must be, can i put a 4inch cone on the cone (glassed on) and make it legal? also what other specs. must the boat meet?

also to run a stock class does the engine need to be compleatly stock (no exaust work or ne thing) b/c i might need to drop a merc 150 or 175 on my boat to turn some good times.. :) lol

i would love all the info possible on this b/c im seriosly concidering it :)

thanx,
scott

If you bracket race, i don't think it matters as you make the index.

Sorry I guess, I was meaning more along the lines of IHBA drag racing, ODBA is different.
try KDBA.net or SLDBA.org... it is run what you can racing with brackets from 13:99-13:00 up to 7:99-7:00sec 1/4mile times.
No weight classes or motor restrictions, just run the number.
Search and see what is available in your area.
