Have never changed the jets so im guessing factory.
What is the best way to check full advance timing? I think that maybe part of my issue i just dont know a safe way of doin it

if you do a search for settting timing you should come up with several good methods as well as jay smith 's

Accel pump carbs had .072 mains, .034 progression, .052 idle air jets.
non pump carbs, .068 main, .050 progression, .070 idle air jets.
only 1 idle air jet per carb on stbd side.
I see your in Calgary who did the rebuild?

If you go to your cabin Radium way and still are not 100% sure on timing or jetting, I live 10km north 93-95 junct and parents have cabin on Winermere Lake. Used to have 2.5 Carb, still have tools and manuals. If wan't a hand and spend a day checkin etc have some smaller props as well. Give me a call 250-347-0094, not working so have lots of time on my hands.
