Minihawk History??

Can anyone tell me about the Minihawks? I have people ask me how long they were made and who made them. What were they made for? Mine is a 1984 was this the only year. I cant seem to find out anything about the history. Thanks:confused:

there were a ton of them around here in the 80s dont really know the history , there was one just like the mini hawk , called a "front runner" .i think is was actuelly the same mold

Where did they all go? People must have let them rot. In the 80's where people using them in some sort of mini boat racing or just as toys? They seem to be kinda hard to find now, wonder why.

i know where one is you can prob buy for 50 bucks.........its in seminole fl . i thought they sucked , all they did was bounce down the water , i had a cougar cub and i smoked all of them ,

Do you know where I can find a cub? All my hawk wants to do is bounce.

I also have a 1990 pro 50 yammy. It has less than 20 hours on it, like brand new. It needs a home will a cub hold it? I would like something to put it on, I know a Minihawk would just sink.
