i just ordered a new stator for my engine (one bank no fire)
i got the new stator in and its a 16 amp stator
when i removed the old stator i noticed the part #'s were different
and checked , its a 9 amp stator
the motor is an 85 merc 200 2.4L , and on ebasic power where i order most of my parts it only lists 16 amp , with and without voltage regulater , i dont have a regulater , so i ordered the 16 amp w/o regulater
the 9 amp and 16 amp use the same rectifier part # , and same switch boxes , but the flywheel seems to be a different part #

will it work ?
will it fry my motor , setting my boat on fire which would spread to my house , and then the block , then the next thing you know the whole east coast is in flames and my boat still dont run ?

thanks in advance for all the help

U will have NO problems.......U juss gitt'in 7 extra amps ov charge'in ability fer free....Flywheels are tha same...I swap them all tha time....Juss note that sum ov tha 9ampers have a lil differnt thickness than tha 16's, so tha correct screw size will be needed!!
