what else could it be

Hi I'm wondering if anyone else has any ideas of what could be wrong. I have a 93 2.5 200 efi, the problem is it will not get above 5300rpms. I have checked the comp. it is fine all cly.are 120-125psi. I have done a spark test thats good.I have also checked the reeds,there good to. The motor was working fine and was running at 6500-6800rpms. And then it just started acting weird. Any advice would be a help. I'm sure its something small, the motor only has maybe 80 hours on it since new from the factory. Thanks Mike

In the old days dropping a 1000rpm or so was usually a cyclinder ,these days it is most likely fuel/injector related ,assuming speed has reduced as well :thumbsup:
