JackPlate on a Stratos VT Rocket

My brother just bought a 18 foot Stratos VT Rocket. Any suggestions on what size jack plate should be used. It will have a 200 efi merc and used for skiing and pleasure boat riding.

Six should be plenty. I have a 20 footer and run 10. But for pleasure 6 will be good. Any more and you'll probably have a hard time getting the bow down and keeping the boat from hopping at lower speeds.

Concur six maximum. That tunnel should not need much. A nice six inch Rapid Jack would work great. Easy to adjust, strong and inexpensive.
