TAYLORSVILLE, Ky. -- The search is on tonight for a 36-year-old drowning victim at the Taylorsville Lake Marina in Spencer County.
Emergency crews from several different agencies gathered Friday at the Taylorsville Lake Marina, including divers and Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife officers with sonar equipment.
Frank Miller and Richard Conway, who were fishing nearby, said the man was traveling at a high rate of speed in a 21-foot boat.
"He came down the lake from the dam. Looks like he pretty much lost control of it. Something broke, he turned really fast and it threw him out of the boat," Miller said.
Conway said at first it appeared the man was OK, but then began to struggle in the water.
"Finally he started to holler. We pulled up the anchor and went over there as fast as we could," Conway said. "I tried to give him my life jacket, but he wasn't responsive. He was going down. I reached down in the water trying to get him. I couldn't get him."
Kentucky Fish & Wildlife officials have identified the man they are searching for as 36-year-old Anthony W. Reynolds of Shepherdsville.
As the search continued, family members and friends gathered at the marina.
The search will continue until dark. If it's unsuccessful, the operation will start back up again first thing Saturday morning.

Not that this is acutely relevant at this point, but very possibly the first Fisherman on the scene may have been elderly an unable to give a real physical rescue attempt or try swimming... Bad deal all the way around, and I wish that there was something that I could do to help the Family deal with these things as with all of Our fallen Brotheran...

My heart goes out to his family and pray that a miracle will happen and they'll find him safe and sound. I've known Tony a long time and have had multiple dealings with him. He was always a guy on my short list if I needed to call somebody for something because I knew I could trust him. I just bought a ProMax fuel pump off of him and he took the time to hook it up and test it AND send me pictures of it before he sent it. I trusted him and didn't need him to do that, but he did it anyway just to be sure it worked before he sent it. That's the kind of guy he is.

I don't know how to go about this, I have been sitting at my computer for hours trying to figure this out...I have received many emails and pms asking me to explain these messages and how it could be, I will do it on my thread "because I care" this is not the place for it...for those of you who follow Phil and Dave's thread you will understand where these messages came from. Below is a message that I received from my friend Annette who is a intuitive (she is a physic/medium) she was born with this gift...she can communicate with the other side. I know some of you don't understand this but it is real, we don't die only the body dies the soul lives on and has the ability to communicate with us, I know many of you that I have talked to understand all of this and many of you do not but this phenomeon has been proven to me, I have solid evidence of this. I had to say those few words first for those who don't understand. I have been so upset over this nightmare with Tony Reynolds and the fact that he still has not been found, I can't imagine what his family is going through right now, it is beyond comprehension...I know this is what Phil would want me to do, to try and get these messages out to all of you to help, he would not want to see this happening to Tony's family (for those of us who have children we can't even fathom something like this) we need to find him and that is why I asked Annette to try and help with this, I feel sick over the fact that his parents have to endure not knowing where there son is... I knew if I asked Annette she would be able to help. Her services have been such a help to many including myself and I would NOT have made it through such an ordeal without her, as I said before she works with many police detectives to try and find missing persons. This is the message that she received below, it is very hard for me to post this because of the impact it will have on some of you...I pray his parents are spared from being there when he is found. God please watch over all involved...
Omg Suze.
I know he is at the bottom of the lake and tangled up in some foliage or line. The only way to find him is with divers and I beg them not to do this with his dad or mom present. please tell the guys;when i get something that strong please please listen. Even if they don't believe, do not chance it. the only thing he felt was fear and then a sense of peace and sorrow. no pain.
Love you honey

I hope you are not upset with my post, I debated for a long time yesterday whether I should write it or not. Then when I received pm's from some guys in Kentucky asking me what the message was, I wrote it. It was very hard for me to do and I didn't even write everything. The main reason for the post was to protect his parents and for his friends to make sure his parents were not there when he was found. I also thought she could help with his recovery. I am sorry if I upset you, it is the last thing I would want to do, I wrote an earlier post which I deleted asking and making sure that his parents do not read S&F or I would not post it. I am just trying to protect his parents and maybe give some friends peace knowing he is alright. If you want me to delete it let me know. I am only trying to help, I knew the post would be very hard to read, it was very hard for me to write but I felt it was the right thing to do....I'm sorry.

Thank You GOD and everyone else up there that helped bring Tony home to his family, THE POWER OF PRAYER! May Tony forever be held in the hands of God and may he soar with the angels and his fallen brothers. I pray for peace and comfort to his family, friends and loved ones. I pray for healing for you all, I believe he is in a better place with other loved ones, a place where there is no pain or suffering only love and peace. There are no words to describe how sad I feel for all his family and friends, it is here that we suffer their loss.

Mr Reynolds, When a accident happens to one of our boating brothers it really effects all of us. As a father my self, I couldn't imigine the pain you are feeling. Your Son will be missed by all of us in the performance boating community. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Mike Tyler.
