Whose going to be there? Rumor has it that the guy that played Grissley(spelling?) Adams on the old TV show will be the "Bucket Boy"
for the wet Tee Shirt contest. Should help get the girls out of their clothing!
Band playing also.
I'll be in the Teal and White Playcraft pontoon with a 200 Opti close to the stage/boat.
Hope to see all the S&Fer's! Stop by if you can.

Not sure I'll make it there this year. Waiting on a few small pieces to get the new powerhead going.

Party changed to Sunday!
WOW , Your telling me there is actually someone that has the power to change the date of The Glen Parties ?
I was always under the impression that these things went on all weekend ,starting on Friday and wrapping up on Monday . Just some days are larger then others .
I'd be willing to bet that place is still going off today !

The article said 3 boats capsized that day. I feel bad for the kids that had no control over the reckless choices made by the adults that were to stupid to take the steps to keep their family safe. If conditions don't look good .....go home.

it is many miles from one side to the other, 3' on any day is possable, these storms had gusts to 50-60 mph. on a good day to see to the otherside is a 5-10 mile distance, in stormy conditions you can't even see it. alot of people go into the glen in the morning on peaceful conditions and go straight into hellish conditions to go home in. God rest their little souls :o

The two fatalitys , where two children . They where wearing vest ,but where in the cabin when the boat capsized ,and where not gotten out . I'm not positive , but I think Juniper Run is on the west side of The Glen ,on Lake George . The three boats that capsized where probably in a holding pattern ,tring to get into the landing .
SAD DAY For Sure !
