I am still trying to see what the hidden agenda is for canceling dealers, even if they sell one vehicle it is one vehicle sold, at no cost to dodge, are there going to be factory owned dealers in select areas or what again there must be some underlying agenda, as to why they are geeting rid of there dealers which are there customers, Matt

the government forced this to happen, they hold 3 million in inventory and the parts supply, its all thiers now completely cleared chrysler of any liability to that money in any way, dont forget, the new chrysler wants to use all assets held by other entitys clear and free so they can use it for new financing, my guess is the gov will bailout the bank when the dealer goes bankrupt leaving the only sad sack in the whole deal the dealers that are now broke and will be foreced to rely on the good ole govnment to help them..............does anyone see the pattern here??? just wait till the GM dealers get in the same boat..............why do banks have to increase thier balance sheets now, cuz they know more is coming.........transparent my frickn ass, they lie more now than ever before..........i hope u all realize anyone of us can be next............IMPEACH them all, its the only way out of this mess

He SHOULD have (or maybe he did) them on a floorplan with Chrysler like most dealers and that wouldnt have been such a problem. The vehicles then couldve been dumped back into their lap as well as the parts. :o

I bet on those terms they would allow him to be open a little longer atleast.

It is incomprehensible to me that this businessman can just just be screwed in the a$$ by Chrysler like that with no reasoning behind it,they should be forced to buy back his inventory at least, using some of their free bailout money.I'll bet this years bonus to one executive would more than cover it.

But then again, if you are a private owned franchise their is no floor plan involved as you OWN your inventory and parts, but I just cant see how they can make you sell a NEW car (one thats never been titled) as a used car........

Got to feel for that guy, they stole from him and it's wrong!

They went bankrupt. He got scr*w*d. Right or wrong, it is the law.

Based on his letter, it seems like he needs to look up what bankruptcy means in a dictionary...

I do feel for the guy, though.

Again I say he is an indepently owned and operated business that cost dodge $0 why would they cut off a customer who will help them get rid of excess inventory, something smells and I cant wait to see what it is, Matt

I'd like to see every dealer that Mr. Obama didn't personally care about sue the UAW for damages. They're the new owners.

Also, a collective of former dealers should create an internet site to clearance their parts to people that can prove they're not affiliated with a dealer at prices that destroy the remaining dealership's ability to profit from service department. Independent mechanics will see a boon.

Steve 1, please refrain from personal attacks. Instead, please explain what Zippy the Squatter has to do with Chrysler's poor performance which goes back to long before Zippy the Squatter was born.

lets look at chrysler.........theywere hurtin before, took a gov loan, they they paid it back, restructured, no bullying from the fascists in charge, kept afloat....lets go back to when all this started, it was long before bush, im gonna say, while slick willy was gettin blowjobs and pretending everything was ok, well it was for him..........NAFTA, etc, GLOBAL economy..etc....selling out the US people, that was created during the last dem occupied regime....why didnt they get out of this one, hmmm maybe it had something to do with the leadership, one guy borrows, has a concience, pays it back...fast fwd to today, no conciense just free money for an executive, gee u wonder why its all goin downhill, and who did the gov bailout this time, yep the ones with no conciense......the ones that contribute major amounts to political funds...........beside, this is the US and our situation, if otheres have a plan, become a citizen and go to congress, im sure theyd be happy to hear from u.........its not the surviving dealers fault there is hanky panky goin on behind closed doors...........remember ZIppys agenda, spread the wealth from the doers to the do nothings...........i think we've answerd that one... have a good day

Our local Dodge dealer is getting shut down. Miller Dodge. They carry Honda and Hyundai as other lines so they are hoping they can sell enough of them to make up for the loss of Dodge. The ridiculous thing is that there are really no other Dodge dealers around.

Like already said hows canceling all the franchises gonna help... Like Gregpro50 said if a dealer loses their Dodge line then they will take on some foreign car:rolleyes: that's just making it harder for all American automakers, everyone gonna buy foreign cause thats only gonna be available:nonod:

It's really sad that a successful business like this that is locally owned and operated can be forced to close down. There will be a lot more stories like this to come.

3 thing that these participating generations should've learned, and the same 3 thing that future generations need to be taught:

The Obama voters effectively voted for more radical Gov't control..

The more control that the Gov't has, the less of the American dream that We'll have to enjoy...

When a generation votes for a socialist politician like Obama, We the People will serve a thuggish Gov't instead of the Gov't serving it's People...
