Its a nice clear clean lake! Kinda small can see the whole lake in a hour or two, kinda like carlyle. Has a awsome party cove and all other little coves to hang out in. Waters deep and clear. Great free boat ramp at the marina with gas dock right there. Hell load the campin gear up and come down sunday. They have a camping area there too

Already paid to stay Friday through Monday. Meeting other friends and boaters out of Troy. Plan on making it to Kincade this Summer, let us know the next time ya'll are headed there.

The guys from Troy made the resevations, all I know is that it dont have a ramp we have to use Keyesport, it,s private I will find out the name today. I also talked to my brother, he is the one wiyh orange Warhawk, and he will come down to Kincade or Carlye if the river run gets backed up.

Where is there a party Cove at Carlyle Lake? I knew the island close to Keysport is almost gone. That was always the reason why I never boated
Carlyle. We used to call it Garlyle Lake. Beautiful lake, but the Corps of Engineers need to let it get commercialized.

The island isn't gone its still there. And the party cove is the next cove up water goin toward the dam from keysport. Then there is what they call "naked" beach that's on the other side of the lake almost directly across from keysport just be carefull heading over there if you leave from keysport it gets shallow in the middle of the lake! Oh and I've never seen ant naked people there either so it doesn't really live up to its name I guess.....

were camping at Hickory Shores south of Keyesport. My buddy from Troy is Chris Maxwell, he lives out on the East side on the road going to Poca. He has a big V, grey,red,white with a checkered flag onthe side.

I saw the red hydro on Sat, thats one nice looking and running boat. I was following it running around 70 in some fairly large chop:thumbsup:. I never seen those guys on Sunday:confused:. I hope nothing broke on the boat and there ok, we were told there was a bad wreck out side of the campgrounds with four people being killled Saturday night.
