differences in 99/04 opti powerheads

Does anyone know if a 2004 3.0 liter Optimax powerhead can replace a 1999 3.0 liter 200 hp powerhead seamlessly? The part numbers are different from 1999 to 2004 and I don't know if the accessories like the compressor, the fuel evaporator bowl,the injectors, etc on the 1999 Opti will mount on the 2004 powerhead.

It will physically fit, but the ECU is different and ignition coils/mounting plate is different
also water outlet from thermostats are routed differently in midsection.
There where also of course several product updates to a 99 3.0 opti including injectors/air rails/compressor/ECU etc....

Thanks for the info. and I understand that there were updates from 99 to 04 but I have an opportunity to replace my tired 99 powerheads with new 04 powerheads and I was hoping I could use my accessories and/or accessory brackets off the 99s and attach them to the 04s. Do you think it would work without too much trouble?
