Found one here in SC.Looks to be in good shape.Guy says it has 400 hours on it.He wants $4500.00 for it.Seems a lil high but I dont know much bout these motors.how many hours can you get out of these things?What can you do hotrod wise??Is it worth that??Thanks for all the help!!

Very good engine, lotta hours dey have da same pin comin out problems also I think, probably needs a rebuild wit top pin pistons wit dat many hours, but who knows. My crap don't usually run dat long. Sammy in S.C.

wernt the "super magnums" the promax type motors? gotta be careful - i though regular magnums were just like "regular" mercs, which migh make that a 3.0L, right?:confused:
