Hello folks. I just rigged up 1987 90hp Merc to a 15.5 foot Thundercraft and had to buy new shift/ throttle cables. Now that i have them installed, i cant seem to get the fast idle to work no matter how much i turn the grommet on the end of the cable and their is no adjustment on the cables that are in the control box. There always seems to be just a little slack between the grommet and throttle connection. What have i done wrong? Could they be to long? I only went from 11 foot cables to 12 foot cables just because the 11 footers looked a hair too short to me. Cheers.:cheers:
