Marine Man AKA Dirk Pitt and I took a run today with my 21 Super. With a full tank, 2-210 Lb Whops and a 28 Trophy, he hit 78.8 on GPS. I ran it by myself on the way home and got 80.1 Whatta ya got to say about that Lightspeed?:D:reddevil:
We are gonna raise the motor and drop some fuel, make a few adjustments, and hopefully get to 85.
Not bad for a fishing motor.:smiletest:

Thats great Mike:thumbsup: Just goes to show how critical weight is with these 21's, but what I found amazing was the prop slip #'s, 5700, 5800 rpm, 1.75 gears, 28" Trophy @ 80.1 mph..............

Kart, Its a 1992, notch added, lightened by replacing floor with nidacore, smaller gas tank, and some other wet wood removed. I think we reduced the weight almost 200lbs if I remember correctly. Raybo may remember the right number. Mike I am not sure on the height but I am going to raise the motor 2 bolt holes as water pressure is no issue right now. I am going to do that on Tuesday and go for a run. Tig, right now I am 12" back but MARINE MAN wants it back another 2 inches. I am going to play with the height first. I WILL see 85 with this boat/motor combo;)

hey guys great numbers with your boats. i have a question though everyone seems to have 1:75 gear ratio and pulling good numbers. my sport master is 1:62 could that be my problem for not seeing such good numbers. i am running a 28 chopper with a 300 pro max thanks jim

between the 28 chopper and that 1.62 gear case I would guess your rpms are way down, I sent you a pm try some things that I suggested and Im sure you will see great results
