In recent weeks 2 Super Speedmasters have sold for less than $600, a third one has no bids at $1000. A whole OMC race motor went for a grand with just 3 bids and Super Speedmaster props have fallen to well under $100 each. A Chrysler unit held its own at $665

The 25ss can't seem to break $1200

I had expected this over the late part of the winter, but at this time, this is a pretty bad sign for the coming months when unemployment will likely rise dramatically and consumer confidence fall dramatically as the car industry restructures, the housing market continues its free fall and flu fever spreads.

There likely will be some deals for brave souls with cash.

The same thing is happening with musical instrument items on Ebay.

Used student-model items have gone up a bit, due to bargain shoppers.
High-end vintage items have lost selling value.

I've noticed the same thing. Alot of "toys" are going up for sale and they arent selling for much.

The economy is hitting me pretty hard. Normally this time of year money starts coming in pretty good but I am just barely getting by.

I have to say, if times were better there was a few things listed here for sale that I would have bought by now.

It is now May 2009 & I honestly believe its still going to get worse, before it gets better.

Not the brave, but the smart will be buying.

Sam. I was trying to pick them for spares but had someone else want them a little bit more.
