Whats the best motor to replace my bridgeport with??

I currently have 18' Collins Mirage with 2.4 efi motor runs good drive went out again..Thought maybe I should upgrade to opti. motor??
what would be best replacement??? Any feedback is great!!

If the motor has good comp numbers why not get a better gearcase and keep on runnin?? Sportmaster??
