Ive been trouble shooting a problem and will be going back out friday for another test run. 92 200XRI- I removed all the modules including the detonation module. Each switch box was connected to this module with a white/black striped wire on the top left lugs along with a jumper. I removed this module and was wondering if this jumper connecting the 2 boxes should also be removed? i checked the wiring diagrams and it doesnt look like this wire should even be there. It shows up on the water cooled reg motors, but not this one. Thanks Lee

Jumper should be left in place except while doing output tests.

It sounds like you are refering to the bias circuit between the switch boxes. You need it. If you remove that wire I think the timing advances WAY out.

Yes it is the bias circuit jumper. I will test them tonight and put the jumper on after testing. I am just trying to get all bases covered before I go back out. I even hooked up the primer wire to the ecu to eliminate a lean condition. I replaced the stator-trigger and first pump. The only thing left will be the ecu. Thanks for the info. Lee
