And used all brand new gaskets with my 260 coil and lower pan.Now im running soild upper and lower mounts.Well i fired the powerhead up to find water leaking around the upper mounts. What gives. What did i do wrong or did not do correct.
Im lost like always:confused:

The o rings are probably missing behind the mounts.

Number 11 is what you need, a little bigger than a garden hose washer, fits on the end of the mount to seal out water.

In a pinch, I have filled the cavity in front of the mount with silicone sealer, let it sit for a day or two. It's a hack repair, but saves you from yanking the powerhead again.

I always order new seals when I disturb the mounts now, they are cheap, and saves a headache like your having now. Some guys put a little silicone around the mount seals during installation, to be extra sure.
