At the 2 to 4 psi that you would need for carbs it should be 4 amps or less. At 18 psi for our VFI fuel injection it only drew 5-6 amps.
The pump that I am working on today can draw up to 30 amps, but it can also support 2000hp at 100psi. The offshore boys that have seen it are drooling for it.
