OMC 120 vs 140

Anyone know off hand the differences between 120hp loopers and 140's? Any port difference or all "bolt on"?

If you can get your hand on a part list for the motor, (about $10.00) from a dealer, you can figure it out. Probably not much. If anything, it will most likely be in the carbs if the years are the same. See the posts on the 200 vs 225. It has a ton of info in it and most will probably apply to the 120 \ 140 loopers.

What I am considering is making the changes to the '93 120 I'm running while I fix my Merc. The little looper is boring after the 200 on my V-King and 20hp is 20hp!

If I remember correctly different reeds. Mix-up on recond powerhead yielded wrong reed ordering. They sent a 120 for a 140. Rick
