The idle speed on my 69 johnson 85hp is set o low in my opinion. When i put the warm up lever all the way up, it will usually stall. Me question is how to adjust youidle speed. Is it the knob where the throttle cabele conects to the motor or is a carb adjustment. thanks

I think there is a screw on that throttle arm on the motor, the lowest one, that controlls the idle stop and keeps the idle cosistant when you bring it back.To bring the idle up the plastic trunion on throttle cable, motor end should bring the idle up.You may have to adjust the cam pick up to give it more if you need to.
