If you had the chance to get a D80 or a D200 what one would you get and why. I am looking at both and not sure what one to get. I am using a D50 now and love it.

I know that you use the D80. Have you used a D200 or what would you suggest.

I just am looking to upgrad and I dont what the new D90 or or a new camera. I wished that I have the money a couple of weeks ago when Best Buy had that sale on the D200. That would have made up my mind. Oh well. Thanks for your help guys.

The D80 has better updated controls/button layout, and the same image quality as the D200.
The D200 has more metal and less plastic, more of a true semi-pro body.

Best Buy still has them on sale, but they went up to $650.

Get the D200, I did! Like Chad said they have the same image quality, but that's it. In my opinion everything about the camera is better and more user friendly once you get use to the more detailed menus and button layout. After using my D200 i will never own a smaller body camera again, in fact I'm thinking about picking up a D300 in the near future.

Casey, nice pics on your web site. Is that Love's Marina that you all put in? Is that where they run around or do they go and gather at another location on the river? When able sure would like to practice taking pictures of the boats running. Also where do you race around here or do you have to travel?

Take Care,
David
