Have my heads been shaved?

Can I tell if my heads have been shaved by checking compression or by looking at them somehow or do I need to have them CC'd to make sure. I do believe they have been from word of former owner ,but would like to make sure. I have reciptes from G-force Tec. on them building the motor but its pretty broad in there discription of what they did.

deffinately CC them to be sure but if you have a known to be stock head of the same casting, you can cheat a bit by using a straight edge acrross the comustion chambers and measure the depth to the plug hole, the stock one will be deeper, but this will not give a clue as to the CC's of it

Have you done a compression check yet? What did you get for a reading? This might be able to tell you if they have been cut or not by the pressure. But not how much.

my stock heads give me 135 lbs

Im running 146# on all 6 I finally got a hold of the engine builder and they have been shaved. thanks guys

yep :D 146 is shaved alright and a nice compression number too, should live good with that number ;)
