well the boat had been on the island many years ago, quite a few people had owned it before me, then I bought the boat from my cousin about 9 years ago an it had a few engines on it tell one day i just decide to restore it myself an built the motor, the only things that was done off island was the machine work on the motor, jim rucks did it in wisconsin, but everything else was done here on island by me mostly an a couple of freinds, the motor is a 2.4 bridgeport card with 33cc cut heads, lighting rods, exhaust port, piston bridge amd coulde of more mods I don't remeber right know.

Nice looking rig and beautiful beach too must be great to have that weather all year round to boat in. so is your boat one of or the fastest there in the Island or are there any other boats like river racer's and do you guy's drag race there or that would be hard to do as you guy's only have the ocean to run in???
Dennyhydrostream
03-09-2009, 06:11 PM
there alot of boats here on the island that are out of my lead, but i have one of the fastest in my class

101 is that all??
you been with the shaft 1 1/2" bellow the pad :reddevil:
Kept hearing about all the 100 MPH Vector/Vikings w/stock 2.4 Bridgepoprts but amazingly I never saw a single one (or any other of the stock Merc powered 100 MPH Vector/Vikings that I was constantly told about) while I had my "fridge powered ski boat" :p:thumbsup::cool:
Then again, once it was dialed (still 1 1/2" down) it never got passed by anything.

I rasied (.650"!) and widened the exhaust ports (added fingers as it was a pre finger port block) and cleaned up the rod slots. Other than that, the motor was box ass stock.

Hey Denny I want to say I saw your boat out on east end a couple of years ago. My mother owned a condo at Rum Point but sold it and built a house on Water Cay Road a few years ago so I'm down there quite a bit. Was your boat originally white with red/blue stripes? Or is there another Hstream near East End that is those colors? The details are foggy but that's what I seem to remember when taking the kids out too the blow holes a few years ago.
We'll hafta hook up next time I'm down there. I like Red Stripe and Red Stripe Light (something we don't have here in the U.S. yet!)
