Worse than that, I'll do it with your little SST buddy. Just remember male pattern baldness means

low maintenance + low drag coefficiant = less work after a run and faster boats

Put 6/10 hours on Friday on the trailer and just got back from 1.2 more hours of breakin on the lake. Mike and Grace Hurst went out in the Vector too. All went well. Poor you and all the ice. Get down here weekend after next for a boat ride an the Amigo trip to pick up Thumper's motor at Sernac's.

Was that when we switched to this style board format? I remember the old message board in the Merc Colors...Nice touch.
Were any of you guys on the old Speedvision BBS board? That is where I heard about screamandfly, it was on angelfire back then (and probably Greg's home PC too).
If my employers over these years only knew... :D

Yes - we switched to a database message forum in April, 2001. We were one of the first to actually use a full database (non-scripted) message forum system, back with VBulletin V1.

The first forum was hosted on my Dell PC, back in 1998-1999 or so. It was a Dell XPS-R400, Pentium II 400MHz, 96MB of RAM, and a 10GB hard disk. Pretty awesome system in its day. :p I actually still have that machine somewhere, and all of its old backups too.

Right now Scream And Fly gets over 25 million page hits per month from over 75,000 unique users.

I thought it was older. When I joined there was a lot of talk about the archives and so on, didn't realize it was a different bulletin board system. I remember T-Man telling me about Firewater. I asked if I could bring my jet boat, he said sure but a lot of guys will laugh at you. :D He also mentioned that some guy from New York was gonna be there...he didn't show. I should have known better that first Rumble Greg. :D

Firewater was cancelled that year due to low water conditions. I bought the HST before the next one (of course it wasn't running by then anyway but I went to the Lake Koshkonog portion of Firewater). It really seems like that was ten years ago but I guess it was only about five years ago after all.

It hell getting old.

Cool...I was thinking it was older than 1998...I was thought around 96ish. I was basing it off where I worked when, since that is where I surfed S&F the most.

Besides the Speedvision BBS, we used to use the Hydrostream.com board as well.

Jason I want my 260 BACK .--------------------------------------------- I saw this post and I thought Baldy was talking about REHAB

This place is kinda like rehab for boat nuts..."My name is Jason and I have a boat problem, they keep multiplying."...or I guess maybe more like a buffet for a fat person.

Actually Jim...the 260 is still together. When I bought it, I never thought I would have got this much time out of it. Not because of the motor in general, just past experiences with Merc Hi perf stuff. I feed it a regular diet of Merc or Pensoil 100% synthetic and 93 pump gas and go putt around the local water hole.

Jason, my sister just moved from IL to a stones throw from Hillsdale Lake. You ever get over there? Traffic? Suspect I'll be in KC more often.
