This means that the hull will shed water through scuppers placed above the waterline at rest . Basically the floor of the boat is higher than the waterline and water has a way to get out through gravity without pumps being turned on .

inside liner is located high enough in the hull with seperate drain plugs/scuppers so if you get water in, it'll run out the back when the hull is at rest or moving forward. alot of offshore hulls are self bailing, pretty nice to have running out a pass that gets snotty and you take a good shot over the bow.

Make things clear. This is typically in an open fish, maybe a flats boat with a high floor. Not typically in our kind of boats.

it means once you buy a hull is automaticly bails your wallet out of money unless you want to go fast then it bails out your savings too.....

wow looked at that and thought it should be called a Goverment HULL

LMAO

On a side note, I saw a boat last year, I think it was a CC, with a transom that didn't go the whole way across the back, it was just in the center for the outboard to mount. I can't figure out what brand it was. Talk about self bailing.

Speaking of self bailing cockpits, has anyone ever installed this on a 24 superboat 1990 vintage?

some boath have what is called an OFFSHORE BRACKET, that can accomidate any number of OB's 1,2,3,4 ect.. these may or may not extend the width of the transom..

Self bailing means that NONE of the cockpit sole OR deck surface(s) water from rain or a washdown, drains into the bilge, at any payload level, while static.
