I saw the new 250 SS yesterday, I guess I like it because of my love of the GSXR motorcycle, Those bikes never ever let me down.

Did you see this motor running or just on a stand at a boat show. I have been thinking about one of these too.

They look cool !!! I have been running 2 x 250DF Suzukis on a 30ft cat and love them. The 300Df for what its worth is not a whole lot faster on the same boat,Max 3-4 mph ,Im waiting to see how those ss motors run.Saw a 250df on a commercial boat last year which had 5000 hrs on it,The owners said a few issues but nothing major .

I saw it on a engine stand at Aqua marine, We do not have many Suzukis outboards at my job, I think a couple of years ago a yellow fin was rigged with twins, the owner of the boat really liked them. I am sure soon enough we will see and hear one run .

I have sort of become friends with a neighbour ,as our kids roll together and i end up fixing their boats .After a year of boating with me on and off (2x DF 250) I mentioned i was thinking of a Skater next year .I hadnt thought 4 stroke Skater ,but when he said i wouldnt mind a Skater with your motors it got me thinking ??? I am lacking the funds at present ,But my neighbour is a well know guy ,$$$ so when i get back to Florida he will get a big bucket of persuasion from me >Turn out Hey ?? Maybe 90 mph ??? we are talking 30ft

We have run the 250SS, as mentioned on above thread. We have also run the new 90 Suzook, as before, the power is just great, but the gearcase and gear ratios are the challenge. On the little boat we managed 62mph with a old 30 chopper just to keep the RPM in range. The prop was lower than the skeg. Did I hear 'blow out'??
