Anyone know about the michigan apollos?... i never heard of them but i have a friend wondering about it.

I heard they are pretty good is all. Never tried one. I did some reaserch though and some guys are useing them on 500hp inboards so they must hold up prety well?hears a link to a guy going to try one on his 27ft fountain with 502/brovo. For the money on a "normal" boat they are a good deal. Don't think they would have a place on a hot rod boat.

So how does it run with a yamaha, is it a fourstroke? bet it's good on gas, got a friend that has a old 200 on his, not set up right just yet,but it's his first go fast

The pic with the Yamaha was when I put a 90hp 4-stroke on it for fun. The engine was bone-stock including the lower unit and it ran 69.8mph turning a 28" Allison cut chopper. It would run all day long on 6 gal of 87 octane. I then put a 150 4-stroke Yamaha on and it easily ran low 80s turning a 32" Hackney. It would have run much faster but with a stock lower unit I did noy push it any further. I now have my 260 Merc on it and haven't had time to finish rigging it.:cheers:
