The HOUSE spends the money, not the President, not Bush, not the Senate...the house. Look at this pork bill and tell me President Pelosi did not spend that money. When you blame the republicans in congress, make sure you blame the half of them that voted just like democrats to spend....today we call them RINOs or I prefer ReLIBricans. Congress was basically 50/50, with the turn coat republicans that made a democrat majority. They screamed war and spent like crazy while you are not looking....in addition to the continuing policy of letting everything go to crap like trading markets, housing markets, business environment, health costs....where do I stop. That is why most real republicans hate the party about 99% as much as they hate socialist democrats. I mean hate their policy, and there are a few good democrats too. I think I speak for a lot of people.

I am sick of hearing how bad Bush was. I want ANY Bush basher to show me any posts he ever posted as of 2006 where he was complaining about the Bush economy.

Why 2006 you may ask? Thats when the congress changed to democrat control.

My only complaint about Bush was that he had his eyes fixed on the war on terror and let the liberals have anything else they wanted in order to do it. And I wasn't complaining at the time.

When Pelosi and Reed took over congress they spent the 1st year renaming Post Offices. Then the economy turned sour and of course, the libs used that to defeat Repubs in the election.

For 7 out of 8 Bush years, all they had to complain about was 'Bush lied about WMD'...ad nauseum. NOBODY was watching the store.

So far everything seems to point to him being a pawn. The news media as usual made no big deal out of all the stuff he asked for, changes he wanted, and was flat out ignored in the Pork-o-matic bill. Even the executive orders seems to be straight liberal party line stuff like Gitmo that nobody even cared about in the polls...it was just a few flakes that gave a lot of money to the dems. He had to do that the first 5 minutes in office, screw the economy or anything else. One thing he wanted was transparency in government, so he goes and voids his own rules on who can work for him, doh, and then all this stuff in congress has been in secret! So far he means nothing, he is just a front for the Pelosi party the way I see it. Wow did Pelosi out maneuver Hillary in a big way. Problem is we now have an ultraliberal freak running the country.

I noticed 2 hings today.

One. That the President came on and spoke in front of the "fiscal responsibility" forum today at 5:00 pm est. The last few speaches or "tv" time that I have seen have been earlier on in the day and all of the "news" channels all have the Djia in the corners showing what the drop is...It always seemed to me that the dow would drop while he was giving his speach.Since he came on directly after the markets have closed it did not give a barometer in real time...Coincidence or tactic?

Two. The dow closed at the lowest point in a decade who and what party was in the house the last time it was that low?
