have a 1988 baja 226 sport with a 350 mag rated at 270hp. i founf a deal on a newer 350 mag rated at 325hp. Is it worth swapping motors??? i run 52mph now any chance of seeing 60mph with the fresher motor????? motor has about 100hrs on it can i put a supercharger on it and expect it to last at all???? thank you all for the help chris can i just bolt a low boost charger on the mag???

I assume you have an Alpha drive? I would think that the drive will be the biggest issue. Some people say you can run a 300+ hp small block through an Alpha, others say you can't. I would think you'd have to lower the compression on either motor to make it last with a supercharger, but I could be wrong.

yeah i know the alpha could be the next problem just wondering if anyone had an idea of what mph gain I could expect???

I belive whipple has a setup for a 350 mag. The whipples are probably the most reliable blower out there.
