What should my ohm reading be on my TPI. Engine is 1986 2.4 BP.

50 to 150 in the closed throttle position.

That's what I tried and it ran terrible, so I set it at 15 ohms and it cleaned it up and ran great. Could it be a bad TPI or did I test it wrong?
