Now I know that this bill passed the house, I am however very happy that every GOP member (including 12 Democrats) stood up and said no to Obama. I think that if the Senate GOP members can make the same stand, that we might have a repeat of 1994.

And Democrats, unfettered by Republican control and solely responsible for their legislation, can hang their hat on their "accomplishments" for America to see. For too long, they've promised one thing, did another, and blamed everything on anybody but them.

Put up or shut up time. Hopefully the United States citizens are watching. Hell, if this works maybe I'll vote Democrat again but all economic theory and history says this is just going to extend and possibly exacerbate the current situation - much like the depression.

You'll know when they're "work" is complete when, having funded their wish list under the excuse of saving the economy and failed to generate a recovery, much like North Korea they will point to "our dear leader". Forget your poverty and eat grass in the worker paradise and for the love of...well, anyone/thing but God...don't talk down the economy like Democrats have for eight years.

obama, Is He Finished, Are The Dems To Blame Him?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seems barry was counting on the repubs in congress to give him some backing on his Stimulus bill, not one voted for it. Now the media seems to be saying the senate repubs will vouch for his plan, nooo-way!
Now with 2010 elections coming soon someone will have to pay if things don't improve a lot, guess who Snake! I think Mc Cain knew what he was giving up, may have been the best thing for the repubs? Starbucks, Home depot and who knows who's next to lay off and Wall street is getting billions! Voters will be remembering barry's "Yes We Can" and "Change We Can Believe In"
This fool has already begged the repubs to help him with his legacy as he said he doesn't want to be remembered as a failure, in so many words. Not to good for being in office just over a week!

MAN I dont know crap about politics but,I DO know it aint good...Im out of work, looks like signin back up in the military is my only instant fix for my family!!!Sometimes I guess it does suck ownin a home and livin in a unpopulated area:nonod:...But whats a guy do???The jobs that have supported families for decades here are now going going GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear, my job is hanging by a thread. I think the only thing to do is sell your trade or experience anywhere in the country. My sister and brother-in-law just openeed aa restaurant in Texas and are making a killing! Before that they openned a mobil coffe and doughnut cart on a golf course and did great. It's hard as hell to move and or change but I think about two thirds of this mess is centered in about five states, you may just be in one. As I posted, they are putting up a 150 mil dollar developement down the road from me and in Texas they are putting in thousands of homes by my sisters. Jobs are tight everywhere but there are some good ones yet, good luck and I hope this helped.

When this fails they will blame Republicans for not getting on board and the media will run with it.

Since this stimulus bill wont do a thing for anybody ,heres a suggestion to fix it ourselves.Go around town and destroy everything. Smash windows. Start fires. Break things. Just cause as much destruction as possible.

Why?

They will need to be repaired! And when they are repaired, that will create jobs. The guy fixing the window will make money, which he can then spend. Everything that burns will need to be replaced, which means it will need to be purchased, which means that will stimulate the economy.

this is exactly the bill that the House passed yesterday in terms of actual economics. The one trillion dollars must be taken out of the economy before it can be put back into it, just like a window must be broken before it can be replaced.

So... go for it! Smash away. It willl work better than the Geniouses in Washington"s Plan !!!

maybe you haven't been back home to detroit recently, they already tried that, they didn't repair or fix a thing, they duct taped the windows on their cars and just kept going about normal poverty business.

In theory its great, in reality its just another detroit.

Isn't this a lot like "Larry the Cable Guy's" approach? You know, "sometimes you gotta wreck the truck to get the insurance money to make the truck payment." :D
