I'M NOT SURE IF THEY HAD BEEN MENTIONED IN ANY OF THE THREADS BUT MY HATS OFF TO THOSE GUYS THEY WHERE A CLASS ACT. ANT THE VOLUNTEERS WHO SAT IN THE WATER ALL DAY LONG BEING THERE IN CASE SOMEONE NEEDED THEM. AS MANY TIMES AS I HAVE SPOKE BADLY OF THE DNR THIS TIME I CAN ONLY PRAISE THEM. I'M SURE MOST ALL WOULD AGREE THEY TOLD EVERYONE WHAT THEY EXPECTED AND IT APPEARED THAT EVERYONE COMPLIDE I HEARD MENTION OF TWO TIMES WHERE A SPECTATOR MADE IT INTO THE DRAG RACE COARSE I BELIEVE IN THE RUNOUT AREA I PERSONALLY DID NOT SEE THIS AND THE OTHER DURING THE PHOTO SHOT OF THE GUYS WHEN SOMEONE WAS MAKING A FEW BLAST AROUND IN THERE BOAT WHICH THE OFFICER THOUGHT WAS NOT TO SAFE. BUT OVERALL THE THREE DAYS I WAS THERE IF THAT WAS ALL THAT HAPPENED THAN THAT WAS AWSOM GREAT JOB BY ALL D.N.R. VOLUNTEER RESCUE TEAM LOCAL POLICE AND SHERRIFS DEPT.

Good call on that one.

They left it up to us to use common sense in making this event a safe one. They were upfront during the driver's meeting in what they were expecting from us.

Those guys deserve the praise.

He was perfect!!
Ally, the one close call was actually one of our own that just was'nt paying attention.
Greg ran him down and lit him up!
Greg was impressed with the way we carried our selves other than that though. I told him that that was our intent from the start.
He gave us enough rope to let him see what we would do with it.
We behaved and handled our selves safley and professionally.
THANX GUYS, YOU WERE AWESOME!!
Next year I will have far less grief to go through with the local patrol people after the postitive experience this year.

Would have to agree, they had a presents but stayed in the background. All who attended acted responsible, I'm sure the locals weren't use to seeing boat flying around and running close. But I never saw anyone doing something dumb.

Its great when that many fast boats and people can get together do something great for some kids, have fun, and promote an activity like performance boating in a respectable way.

I really enjoyed the weekend!

Was that some HEAT or what?????
