Got one question before going on with this-does the seal around the pipe for the water-cooling in the exhaust-adapter need to be changed?
Or can I just push the 20" waterpipe through the seal and it will be good and not worry?

(I`m changing powerheads-and exhaust-adapters. And the new exhaust-adapter came from a 15"mid and I have a 20"mid on the boat-therefore have to use the 20" pipe...)

whether the plate came off of a 15 or a 20 is irrelevant. what matters is the water tube's are the same diameter( there are 1/2" and 3/4"). alot of the high performance motors had 3/4" tubes. as long as your using a water tube from a 20" motor then just make sure the diameter of the grommet female opening and your water tube are the same

Thanks for the reply-so no need for it to be changed to a new one then-the seal I mean?

if your talking about the one in the exhaust plate i would say no it doesn't need to be replaced UNLESS it's torn, damaged, or the wrong size
