What sort of compression should I expect with 26CC heads on a healthy stock ported 260? They are stamped 26cc but have not cceed them yet. Thanks. Oh, been using those .75 head gaskets, do they make much of a differance compared to the standards, motor was 145 allround before new rings went in and with the old stock gaskets and heads, although looking at the old gaskets it was the right time.

I run 26cc heds on a slightly modd'd 200 2.5, and it haz 180#s ov squeeze, with thick(std) hed gaskets...The thin hed gaskets always made about 8-10#s differnce on what ever I used them on...

26cc heds on my F-1 2liter iz also around 180-185...

Thanks Trex. So with the timing at 25 max would I get by with avgas or a fuel of equal octane?

26 CC @ sea level with a 1MM gasket will yield 175 lbs on healthy 260 with a 1".565" port. 100 octane would be plenty safe at 25* timing.
