I have a 1988 procraft fish @ ski 19.5 ft with a 200 hp mercury. The power head is freshly rebuilt (but well broken in). I am runing a 23 P PREDITOR PROP AND MY RPM IS 5800 TO 6000. DEPENGING ON MY WEIGHT LOAD. WHAT TOP END SPEED SHOULD I EXPECT OUT OF THIS BOAT. I ALSO WANT TO PUT A JACK PLATE ON IT. HOW MUCH SET BACK WOULD YOU SUGGEST.
tHANKS FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS.

62.8 mph with 1.87 gears, 6000rpm, 23 pitch and 10% slip...but I am not real sure how that translates into the real world. Lets see what the veterans say! Reid.

Slip is probably 15% or more running thru-hub prop buried, no jackplate, maybe quite a bit of trim?

58-62, somewhere in there. You've definitely got more potential...

would think 8-10 inches of setback
