Not sure I'd blame this one on the economy, back in Feb 2008 there were rumors that CCTYQ was going bankrupt. I think this is more of a case of bricks and mortar vs online stores even though CCTYQ was number 11 in online sales.

Where there is one sob story, there is another success story. tiger direct and now comp USA are a big reason they are going out. I just wish more mom & pop stores were still around.

Well that sucks. I used to go there over Best Buy here as I always got much better service and much more knowledgeable people.

Don't forget NewEgg in that list of online stores for electronics. I have spent way to much money with them. I could have bought a boat by now. :)

I just wish more mom & pop stores were still around.

I couldn't agree more! CC has never been impressive to me. There are NO good car audio stores left in Peoria. One good one in E. Peoria.... :nonod:
