have you seen the kneeler O/B's the guys are building now??

A friend of mine forwarded a couple of videos of them and they were way cool!

I stay away from the RC stuff cuz I know it would be like crack and not let me go.

Back in the 70's I joined a club and tried to get into it but was when radios were still big bucks which I didn't have. Was right at beginning of my racing days and I did the math and found I could race a "real" kneel down boat cheaper than I could a RC boat

Did everything I could w/o a radio though. Twin elctric inboards with a control cable going to the boat. A Fuji O/B on a balsa scaled model of a Baja race tunnel. Most fun was taking sheets of metal, putting a curve in the front and mounting an .049 motor to it for the snow/ice

Talked to Foley this evening, looks like our boy managed some WOOD at the Winter Nationals.
Way to go Tom

I'm sure we will get the full rundown once he unwinds from 4 days in O-Town away from the wife,
I mean unloads the trailer............
:leaving:

Andy
Update-
