The Rumble Today

We took off early this morning and arrived at the Rumble scene about 8:00 AM (it's only 1:15 from my home).

There were about 15 boats racing this morning and Eric with the XR2001 cleaned house. I can't rmemeber is "handle" on S&F, but his boat number is 771....you guys know who I'm tlaking about. His Ally absolutely ripped!!

Good turnout although a few more racers would've been nice.

I'd estimate about 60-70 boats total turnout today

The crowd is AWESOME. Nice, friendly, polite,....Made me proud to be a part of the event!!!!!!!

The town has welcomed them with open arms and has obviously supported them well!!

We left about 3:30 and there were still quite a few boats giving folks rides.

Lots of people with lawn chairs situated above the ramp just watching the action all day long!

More later....From what I saw, it's a HUGE success!

Hello from the Rumble!!!

Yep! It was a great time yesterday -- and I'm ready for more today --as soon as the boys are ready we're leaving the hotel and heading back out.

Yesterday we hung out in "Amigoville" which is right next to "Byuboyz-Town" :) I got to chat with TRex, RaceboatRus, Lake Trash and B Leonard too! (I need to thank Lake Trash and his lady for being there when I really needed them -great folks!!!)

The Rumble Band "Fast Company" rocked Carrolton last night -- our awesome guitars = Skip, Halveb (Bob), Bush, Eric, = and Damage was OUTSTANDING on drums! The Tiki Bar was JAM-PACKED with people - locals and Rumbler's combined. Standing room only - even the dance floor was jammed~ FUN! The guys did a GREAT JOB~! A switch of tunes at the last minute made it hard for me and Kathy to join in, but you guys really did us proud!!

Gotta head out for some more Make A Wish Rides...One little boy said yesterday while standing in 100 degree heat after stepping out of one of the boats: "This is the bestest wish ever!" :D

Made my day :)

Gonna go grant more wishes now.... ;)

Too much stuff to report,But here is a summury Lakers V-4 screams real good, Kaptain Kirks Riot ROCKS and he is NUTS. The Amigos WUSSED OUT and wouldnt run him.Instagator deserves a big "Thank you" for putting this together,Skip and the Screamandfly band Rocked the house,Ken Warby is a Class act,
Hydrostreams were everywhere (and Euros),Rex is nuttin but fun(and crazy).....More when I recover.Dave:cool:

The boat was beutifull,ran like a raped ape,Cheryl was gonna pay for it........But,TWO MERCS????? Shes the one who told me to buy the Johnson:p Mike Hurly was really dissapointed I didnt buy it!!! Im kinda rough on equipment ya know.(he does all my Merc Work)Man what a WILD ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One gas pedal for two motors,Just rock your foot and drive it like a tank.Let off alittle uneven and the side with less rpm kinda pulls ya into a "Hook".It was cool,I owe Jeff for the ride and the Drive.
I gotta admit I forgot how good those 260's run.Instant power.

ChrisH.-man that was a pretty GS you have man, I seen you headed to the trailer and then in the parking lot, that boat looks sweet. I was in the 22 Mirage. That yellow Allison is Clienmark's and man is it awsome. I met the guy who originally owned it, what a ride!

Thanks for that ride in your beautiful Allison Grandsport , that was my first Allison ride. I love that boat & it ran like hell too! Be shopping this winter for a new ride. .
I had such a blast at the rumble. Everyone there was great company. With the fun we had this event has to take off next year. Hopefully we get some decent magizine exposure from Hot Boat. John

ALLISON7710 It was great watchin that boat run it was a scream to bad the rudes didn't want to play anymore after the whoppin I don't think there's anything else to say about who had the baddest combo this time but maybe next time. Closest thing to you was another allison merc powered then maybe a toss up between a Another allison merc powered and the 2 rude powered stv's but there was not enough racing done between them to actually say who was the faster K&K Marine I think the name Was G. Williams had a awsome boat but I think he was having some problems with NOS system would have been great to see him at the top of his game but still was a great show never the less.
Jeff Yammers Stream also Screams. He whooped a few mercs and rudes and got whooped buy mercs as well but. T REX what a show of driving this guy does must be the water he drinks RAPTOR was also fun to watch and Quick too Just didn't want to turn rpms for the big end.

AND WHAT CAN SAY ABOUT INSTIGATOR GREAT JOB WE'LL SEE YOU NEXT YEAR AND WILL SEE IF YOU CAN TAKE MY FISHIN BOAT.:cool:
