Most Miller dealers will take the old one on trade, working or not.

Thanks guys. Plenty of options I guess. I've got a line on a Syncrowave 250 from a guy local. Not a dealer. I was thinking I would get the Econotig fixed and get caught up then sell and buy something with more power. I had it sold, but before I got paid the thing quit working. He wanted me to pay to have it fixed and I felt like he was trying to get a free welder. I called off the deal and picked up my machine. I now just need it fixed and will find another buyer. REW

May sound silly but trace the power lead into it & see if there is a fuse link in the line. Just a thought, could be a burned fuse

The only fuse is over on the pc board. It checks Ok. REW

I have three sync 250's at my shop and they are awesome old , new , does not matter . I really like the 351's imho they are the best for what we do ( Towers , Tee Tops etc )

I haven't been able to get very far on the Miller forum, I think I'll call Tom's guy in Clearwater from work in the morning. Even if I need to sent it to him, we have trucks thru there at least once a week, so shipping aint no problem. I just need to get something going. I can't stand having this work piling up. REW

The control panel has MOVs in it that will ground out and blow the small fuse to the electronics if connected to the wrong voltage.
You can probably download a schematic off of Google.

You may try this site for Miller assistance .... http://www.millerwelds.com/products/tig/syncrowave_200/

I have a 200amp syncrowave to pick up this week. They are nice units for non-industrial applications. Great for my needs.

i repaired welders for a couple years for airgas, and the econo tigs had controll board diode issues on several model years, look the boards over really well and i bet you will be able to visualize your problems due to a burnt circut component or trace line if you need I can give you a login for miller welds to search all the factory manuals and tech specs

Thanks 150, I do suspect it's something in the circuit board. I pulled it out to get a better look and didn't see anything obvious. I'm lost at this point. I borrowed one to get caught up and haven't looked at it for about a week. I need some place to get parts, these dealers around here are pissin me off. I feel like I need to pull a weapon to get a straight answer. All I ask is, if you don't know, just tell me you don't know. Ya know what I mean. REW
